The Systems Engineering Society of China (here in after referred to as SESC) is a nongovernmental academic organization of professionals in the field of systems engineering and systems science. It is also one part of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). In 1979 21 famous scholars and experts, including Qian Xuesen Guan Zhaozhi, Song Jian, and Xu Guozhi proposed to set up the SESC, which was formally founded under its present name in November 18, 1980 in Beijing and the natural scientist Qian Xuesen and social scientist Xue Muqiao served as the honorable presidents to show the salient characteristics of interdisciplinary endeavors from multiple domains and areas. The objectives of the SESC are to develop academic exchange, to promote and popularize the theories and methods of the Systems Engineering and Systems Science and to extend their applications in various fields, and thus to unite the mass of professionals in this field for help to improve the level of management of our country and to serve the national economic construction for the different missions at different periods during the past 40 years. To organize academic activities and promoting the development of theories and applications in Systems engineering and Systems Science; To propagate and popularize the SE knowledge; To hold various training courses; To edit and publish academic periodicals; To offer consultation to some major SE programs of the country. To evaluate project; To appraise the achievement; To assess professional qualification; To develop the international academic exchange of SE and SS. To serves for science and technologies.
Established in 1984, the Software and Systems Engineering Branch of China National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee is a national authoritative standardization technology organization in the field of software and systems under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and approved by the Standardization Administration. Its international counterpart is ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7. Our scope of work covers the formulation, promotion and application of standards in sub fields such as software quality, software testing, software tools and methods, software environment, software life cycle process, software engineering talent training and software value. Software and Systems Engineering Branch has gathered nearly 200 domestic well-known software evaluation institutions, Internet and software enterprises, manufacturing enterprises, colleges and research institutes, academicians of the CAS, and industry experts and scholars, and jointly organized the release of 130 national standards; In addition, we have provided complete standardization solutions for software quality, software value, software testing and evaluation in key application fields such as manufacturing, software service and financial industries.
China National MBSE Alliance, established in 2020,China National MBSE Alliance, is a non-profit collaborative innovation community in the field of model-based systems engineering, digital twin and meta-verse. We have gathered nearly 40 well-known overall research institutes, software enterprises, manufacturing enterprises, colleges and universities which is guided by academicians, industry experts and scholars. China National MBSE Alliance provides digital engineering transformation proposal, research strategies and application bases for key fields such as manufacturing, software services, universities and research institutes. The "MBSE Alliance" will adhere to the national strategic needs as the source power, build a platform to jointly study model-based system engineering, digital twins and meta universe and other technology and promote model-based system engineering (MBSE) technology innovation, and drive the national industrial software development.
The China Graphics Society (CGS) is a national, academic, and non-profit social organization which is voluntarily formed by experts, scholars, scientific workers and pertinent organizations engaged in graphics and relevant disciplines nationwide, as well as a juridical association registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and a part of the China Association for Science and Technology. Its predecessor is the China Engineering Graphics Society founded in 1980. In 2010, it was renamed the China Graphics Society to meet the demands of the disciplinary development. Currently, the chairman of CGS is Professor ZHAO Gang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Tsinghua University Committee and Vice Chairperson of the University Council. CGS gathers a large number of renowned experts and scholars of the science and technology community in the domain of graphics throughout the country, with a membership of over 120 thousand people. CGS is also a member of the International Society for Geometry and Graphics.
Since its establishment, CGS has focused on graphics and related disciplines, promoted academic research, and conducted numerous academic exchanges among colleagues domestic and abroad. In addition, CGS has unwaveringly engaged itself in editing and publishing journals, popularizing graphics and carrying out continued education, technical training and consultancy, and thus actively serves the scientific community.
CGS consists of 19 professional committees and branches, and 8 working committees.
The Digital Industrial Software Alliance (hereinafter referred to as "DISA") is a voluntary, open, non-profit, cross-industry alliance of enterprises, institutions, associations, universities and research institutes engaged in industrial software.
The Alliance is a cross-industry, open and non-profit social organization formed voluntarily by enterprises, institutions, associations, universities and research institutes engaged in industrial software on the basis of voluntary, equality, mutual benefit and cooperation.
